Global professional services firm Aon plc has announced a new arrangement with FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) to provide fleet operators with access to Aon’s tailored insurance solutions.
FORS, which represents 4,700 fleet operators across the UK, is the UK’s leading fleet accreditation scheme and works to provide its operators with higher standards for safety, efficiency, environmental protection and overall excellence in fleet operations.
Rhod Breeze, head of SME partnerships based in Aon’s Cardiff office, said:
“Tailoring insurance solutions and employing flexibility so they meet each business’ needs is something that Aon takes very seriously, not least of all as it’s estimated that 50 per cent of UK businesses may be underinsured to some degree. Therefore, it’s important that businesses regularly review their insurance needs to ensure they’re buying the right level of cover and that their policy adequately covers their requirements.
“By providing FORS operators with access to our free insurance and risk review, we’re able to provide them with insight into where there may be gaps in their cover, or deficiencies in their sums insured and help them to increase awareness of their own risk profile.”
On behalf of FORS, Geraint Davies, FORS concession director, said:
“Fleet managers are under increased pressure to manage risk and compliance whilst maintaining a keen eye on cost and operational efficiencies. Safety, of course, remains a top priority.
“By working with Aon, we’re providing our operators – from single vehicles to large fleets – with access to expert-led insight to evaluate their current insurance arrangements and ensure they’re competitive, compliant and fit for purpose.”
