New Owner for Ceredigion Holiday Lodge Development

Savills has sold Parc Morlais, a holiday lodge development in west Wales, to The Luxury Lodge Group. The firm acted on behalf of a private individual and the site was sold from a guide price of £749,000.

Set in 5.5 acres (2.2 hectares) of manicured parkland with far reaching sea views, Parc Morlais is currently being developed with planning permission for 30 twin unit holiday lodges, four of which are in situ. A three bedroom owner’s home is also included in the sale. Located in the village of Llanon the park has easy access to the nearby towns of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth.

Richard Prestwich, director in the leisure and trade related team at Savills, comments:

“The sale of Parc Morlais is perhaps one of the success stories emerging from the current economic and political climate. Confidence in the holiday park industry has grown as more Brits are choosing to holiday at home, making boutique holiday parks such as Parc Morlais a desirable entity.”
