Mid Wales Glamping Destination Unveils New Luxury Accessible Lodge

By Visitor Economy · 8 Oct 2026 · 2 min read

Love2Stay, Mid-Wales – the upscale glamping and adventure experience, has introduced the Buttercup Lodge, a large luxury spacious lodge, designed for disabled guests.

Recognising that holidaying for the disabled can be a challenge, Love2Stay enlisted the help of disabled architect and retired Olympian rugby player, Jim Roberts, to create a luxury lodge that would truly serve the complete needs of the disabled.

Jim worked with Love2Stay to ensure the lodge drew on its rural Welsh heritage, offering disabled guests a country barn-inspired holiday experience with all the modern touches synonymous with Love2Stay Mid-Wales.

Buttercup Lodge is where accessibility meets luxury. Complete wheelchair accessible accommodation with full ramp access and level thresholds, with all the necessities required for guests with limited mobility provides them with a stress-free comfortable stay. Two lodges adjoin, providing convenience and room for up to four people. The main bedroom features a sumptuous king size zip and link bed, complemented with a second king size bedroom for easy manoeuvring, with an accessible ensuite wet room, complete with a shower seat and grab handles, which ensures stress-free hygiene and convenience.

A family Bathroom featuring a bath with an overhead shower is available, along with an open plan living area that provides a traditional farmhouse feel. A fully fitted kitchen and a furnished lounge area offers ample seating with a large plush sofa and country-style dining table and chairs, whilst floor-to-ceiling windows with sliding doors perfectly frame the dramatic sky and rolling Welsh hills.

More space outdoors blends seamlessly with a host of features, including generous decking complete with a sunken, bubbling hot tub and firepit, which can also be used as a wood fired BBQ.
Commenting; Lee Bebb, Love said: “Accessibility needs vary wildly and working with Jim has demonstrated we take hospitality for disabled guests very seriously. Finding the right accommodation that really has all the appropriate facilities, has become a huge challenge. Vague definitions lure customers in to making bookings, only to find out that accommodation is wholly inadequate. We are determined to provide a luxury experience for everyone and that includes the guest with accessibility nee
