A local housebuilder has released an exclusive first look at its new homes coming to Glan Llyn.
Barratt South Wales has released a first look at its anticipated new development, Chestnut Park, situated off Middle Reen Place, which will bring 153 much-needed new homes to the region.
The housebuilder has released a CGI image showing just what life will look like at the development. The development forms part of a 1 billion regeneration project in Newport, which will provide outdoor community spaces to encourage sustainable living, including open parkland, wildlife habitats, and new lakes.
As part of the S106 agreement, they will also deliver plenty of indoor community amenities, complete with sports facilities featuring a multi-use games area, retail centres and new workspaces. New transport routes will be available, including cycle routes, footpaths and bus services, to support the community to travel more sustainably.
One of the homes to be released is Barratt's The Kingsley house type. The four-bedroom property will feature a modern, open-plan kitchen and dining area that spans the width of the home, complete with French doors opening to the garden. The home has plenty of space for growing families, with a separate lounge perfect for socialising.
Upstairs offers three double bedrooms, including the luxury of an en-suite in the main bedroom, with the fourth room the perfect space for either a single bedroom or a home office. All properties will also include photovoltaic solar panels to help homeowners save energy and cut costs.
Sian Smith, Sales Director for Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales, said:
“We are very excited to show how the new homes at our Chestnut Park development will look once the first homes start to take shape.
“After receiving such a positive reception to our homes from Newport house hunters, we wanted to continue to cater for the significant demand for high-quality family homes in this sought-after location, which is just a short walk from Newport town centre.
“With interest already high, and two new show homes on the way, we're encouraging eager house hunters to register their interest to ensure they are the first to hear when properties are released for sale.”
Situated on the edge of Newport, yet within easy reach of the town centre, Chestnut Park is perfect for first-time buyers and growing families alike. With its own brand-new sport facilities, open parkland and just a ten-minute walk from a primary school, the development is an idyllic location for house hunters.
