Llay Miners Welfare FC and Hotel Wrexham have announced a new partnership to support the Wrexham Miners Rescue for the remainder of the football season.
Llay Miners Welfare FC is set to unveil a special Wolverine-themed third kit that will be sponsored by Hotel Wrexham and worn for several matches this season. The kits, inspired by resilience and strength, will make their debut on January 11 during the Wrexham derby against Gresford Athletic FC. The collaboration reflects the shared commitment of all three organisations to honour and educate locals and visitors about the rich mining and football history that defines Wrexham’s heritage.
In addition to the debut kits, the partnership will include several initiatives throughout the season to support the work of the Wrexham Miners Rescue:
- Retail Offerings: Wolverine-themed third kits will be available for purchase, with a portion proceeds benefiting the Miners Rescue.
- Charity Auction: Signed (special guests to be announced at a later date) Match-worn kits will be auctioned off to raise additional funds.
- Matchday giveaways and special events (watch social media for further announcements). Commemorative Llay Logan FC scarf giveaway to be announced in the coming month.
