A community dental practice in Cwmbran is set to be modernised by its new owner.
Llanyrafon Dental Practice was taken over by experienced dentist Dr. Eirini Pasisi earlier this year.
Backed by £500,000 funding from NatWest Cymru, Dr Pasisi’s plans to modernise and expand include creating a state-of-the-art facility and potentially adding a new surgery, all with a focus on improving patient care and access in a region facing significant NHS dental shortages.
Dr. Pasisi said:
“It is fantastic to have the opportunity to take over the practice and improve it for the better of the local community thanks to the funding from NatWest. This has allowed us to realise our ambitions for the future. The planned upgrades will help to streamline processes, improve efficiency and ultimately enable us to continue delivering a high standard of patient care. Our goal is to prioritise education to give everyone the best chance at strong oral health and provide the highest quality of care to give our communities the best smiles.”
Karen Flicker, Relationship Manager at NatWest, added:
“Dr. Pasisi does a fantastic job at balancing the business side of care, with prioritising her patients’ needs. At NatWest, we are always looking to support entrepreneurs that bring a benefit to the communities we work in. The dentistry industry in Wales is currently facing a lot of strain, but we look forward to seeing how this investment benefits the sector and local area.”
