Lease Renewals Signal Business Confidence in Wrexham

FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) has reported a number of extended lease agreements with significant tenants at Wrexham Industrial Estate, providing further evidence that business confidence remains strong in the area.

FIREM, the asset and property management company, has concluded substantial lease extensions with some of the estate’s biggest tenants; including Exveritas Limited, the product and management system certification body and The Cup Folk, the paper cup manufacturer. Both have signed new 10-year lease agreements and moved into bigger units to allow for business growth. Porvair Sciences, specialist manufacturer of Vyon® porous plastics and microplate products, has also renegotiated its existing contract, signing a new 15-year lease on the estate.

FIREM has 500,000 sq ft of industrial space on the 8M sq ft site, making it the largest landlord on the biggest industrial park in Wales.

A spokesperson for FI Real Estate Management said:

“Wrexham Industrial Estate is home to over 340 businesses, employing over 11,000 people from miles around – on both sides of the border. From automotive and aerospace, to food and pharmaceuticals, there are a host of sectors that have found a home in this well-connected industrial hub. We are delighted to have maintained our near 100% occupancy levels with these retained tenants and look forward to supporting their continued growth and success.”
