Knight Frank Let Newport Industrial Units

Property consultancy Knight Frank has secured two new industrial lettings at the Wern Trading Estate in Rogerstone, near Newport.

Tiling contractor A P Tiling has taken a five year lease on the 3,046 sq ft Unit 7 at an annual rent of £17,000. The company carries out all aspects of floor and wall tiling, including providing a re-grouting and tile cleaning service.

The adjacent 2,986 sq ft Unit 6 has been leased by Q-Bot Limited, which provides robot-installed underfloor insulation in houses. Q-Bot has taken a five year lease on the unit at a rental of £18,000 per annum.

Q-Bot co-founders Tom Lipinski and Professor Peter Childs have developed a robotic solution that fits through a small opening in the floor, to deploy and apply underfloor insulation in situ without having to take the house apart.

Knight Frank and M4 Property Consultants are the joint letting agents for the buildings for landlord Tilstone Industrial.

Neil Francis, head of the Industrial & Logistics team of Knight Frank in Cardiff, said:

“The established Wern Trading Estate in Rogerstone is approximately three miles north west of Newport city centre with good access to the M4 motorway at J28.

“Its location makes it an attractive choice for a wide range of businesses, and A P Tiling and Q-Bot join existing occupiers including Tiny Rebel Brewing, Cedric John & Sons, Deli Serve and David Wood Bakeries.”
