Jellyfish Business Solutions has relocated to new headquarters at Cardiff Gate as it continues to expand its operations across the region.
The new office gives the business improved access to its growing customer base across South Wales and the South West, while also providing additional space for future recruitment and development.
The move comes after a sustained period of growth for the company, which now supports more than 220 customers with services including IT support, cybersecurity, telecoms, connectivity, managed print and business technology solutions.
Managing Director Jack Walsh said:
“The business has changed a lot over the last few years, and we needed an office that worked better for both our team and our customers.
“One of the biggest positives already is having everybody together on one floor. At our previous office in Llanishen, the team was split across two floors, so this layout has brought people closer together day to day.
“We wanted somewhere that future-proofed the business. We are ambitious about where we want to take Jellyfish over the next few years, so it was important to move somewhere with the capacity to support that growth rather than needing to move again in a short space of time.”
The company officially opened the new office by inviting players and backroom staff from Glamorgan Cricket Club, Dragons RFC and Newport County AFC to take part in the inaugural Jellyfish Darts Challenge.
Jellyfish is the Official IT Partner to all three clubs and organisations, with the partnerships forming an important part of the business over recent years.
Glamorgan pair Will Smale and Andy Gorvin eventually won the tournament after beating the Jellyfish team in the final.
Jack said he believes businesses are increasingly looking for practical guidance rather than technical jargon:
“There is obviously a huge amount of conversation around AI at the moment. A lot of businesses are trying to work out how it fits into what they already do, and whether it can genuinely improve efficiency and productivity. That is where having the right IT partner matters. We are helping customers understand what is useful, what is secure, and what can realistically integrate into their existing systems without overcomplicating things.”
