Langstone Construction has promoted Ian Williams to Construction Director after only five months with the Cardiff-based contractor.
Ian joined Langstone Construction as Head of Construction in April, after working at major contractors such as Taylor Woodrow, BAM, and Kier, and has quickly been promoted at the company that specialises in residential, education, health and commercial building.
Neil Phillpott, founder and Managing Director of Langstone Construction, said of Ian's promotion:
“Ian has made a big impression since he's joined us at Langstone. His management of the multiple projects that we have underway, as well as the relationships he has and maintains with our clients has really made a difference to the business.
“This promotion is a real testament and it has been great to see how he has thrown himself into the role since he started with us in April, so the promotion to Construction Director made complete sense.”
Ian Williams said of his new role:
“It's been a whirlwind five months since I've joined Langstone, but I have loved every minute. For Neil and the senior team to now trust me with this director role is really gratifying and I can't wait to get my teeth properly stuck into the new role and take Langstone Construction to the next level.”
Langstone Construction employs 36 staff from its offices at Cardiff Gate, ideally located to service their clients' needs within South and West Wales and the South West of England. Langstone is currently delivering residential projects for housing associations, with care homes for both private and local authority clients in South Wales.
