Howden Insurance Makes Two Key Appointments to Account Management Team

Howden Insurance makes Two Key Appointments to Account Management Team

Howden, the global insurance group, has welcomed two new appointments, Hannah Joyce and David Bennett, to its Wales offices.

Hannah joins Howden from Thomas Carroll, having previously worked at Davies Craddock and NFU Mutual. As account executive she will specialise in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with commercial clients to contribute to the growth of Howden’s south Wales branch.

Hannah said:

“I’m thoroughly enjoying my time at Howden. I was drawn to the company due to the fast-paced, challenging and exciting environment that is interrupting the existing broker network in south Wales.

“I am confident that with the reach of Howden and my desire to build long-standing relationships with clients, I will be able to provide great value risk advice and insurance protection.”

David was previously in a senior management and operations role and will be moving back to a client-facing sales and advisory position, bringing his expertise in sectors such as leisure, property owners and manufacturing.

David said:

“I am delighted to have joined the sales and risk management team at such a renowned company. Howden has really raised its profile in recent years and the expansion into South Wales means we have a very exciting future ahead.

“Personally, I am looking forward to forging relationships with new clients and insurers across the region, and I am particularly excited to assist Howden in achieving our customer-centric goals.”

Gary Stevens, Regional Managing Director at Howden, added:

“Hannah and David are both exceptional assets to our account management team and they have already shown their potential to spearhead what we can do for clients in 2025. As we kick off the new year, I am confident that our team will continue to grow in providing tailored and practical solutions to our clients and expanding the opportunities for the South Wales offices.”
