People living, working, volunteering and running businesses in Neath Port Talbot are being asked how the coronavirus emergency has affected them.

The Neath Port Talbot Public Services Board wants as many people as possible to fill in the Community Impact Assessment Questionnaire to help it understand the impact Covid-19 is having on our communities now and what the likely impact will be in the short, medium and long term.

The idea is that information gained from the survey, which closes on Friday 12 June 2020, will help to shape the local recovery.

The Neath Port Talbot Public Services Board is made up of local public, private and third sector organisations which work together to improve the well-being of people who live in our county borough. Members include the council, health board, emergency services, local businesses and charitable organisations that support the community.

The questionnaire should take 15-20 minutes to complete and the information provided will be anonymous and treated as confidential.

Any information published from the survey will not include anything that could be used to identify individuals, but will include details about the profile of the respondents in general, such as how many people took part, the geographical spread of respondents and issues raised by specific age groups etc.

People will be asked a wide range of questions on subjects including their work status, the general area in which they live, if they have had Coronavirus symptoms or a positive diagnosis and what effect the emergency has had on them and their family.
