Have Your Say on Proposals to Improve Holyhead Station

Are you a Holyhead resident, business owner or visitor? Transport for Wales (TfW) is looking to transform Holyhead station into a local transport hub and needs your feedback on its proposals.

Options for improving the station cover a broad range of areas including signage, passenger facilities, active travel, integration between different modes of transport, the look and feel of the station and tackling anti-social behaviour.

The options consultation period began on 10 November and runs until 22 December 2022. You can find out about the proposals and complete an online feedback form by visiting: haveyoursay.tfw.wales/holyhead-station.

You can also access the information in Welsh from here. If you would prefer a paper feedback form in Welsh or English, these can be picked up from Holyhead station ticket office (Holyhead station, London Road, Holyhead LL65 2BT) or the Holyhead Market Hall (Holyhead Market Hall, Stanley Street, Holyhead, LL65 1HH).

If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch:

  • Email: holyheadstation@mottmac.com
  • Phone: 01492 588 327 (please note this is a standard phoneline with usual charges)
  • Post: Freepost HOLYHEAD STATION CONSULTATION (no stamp required)

The scheme is currently at an early stage so there are no detailed plans for any of the proposed options and TfW has not sought or secured any funding for the scheme as yet. The options presented are initial ideas only. Your feedback will help TfW build a case for funding and will help when choosing the preferred option(s) to take forward if funding is allocated.

The deadline for feedback is midnight on 22 December 2022.
