Dow Schofield Watts Corporate Finance's (DSW CF) Cardiff team has completed three significant transactions in TMT, specialist business services and manufacturing.
Recent deals for the team include advising Innovation Investment Capital (IIC), backed by Cardiff Capital Region (CCR), on its growth investment into Coaches' Voice, a leading football education platform used by more than 4,000 organisations worldwide. The investment will support the business's next phase of expansion, enabling it to grow its technology offering, widen access to coaching education and strengthen its presence in Wales through its partnership with the Football Association of Wales.
The Cardiff DSW CF team also advised the shareholders of Cardiff-based Bay Productions on the sale of a majority stake to Kingsford Investments. The transaction will provide the specialist scenic production business with additional capital and strategic support to accelerate growth, while enabling it to build on its reputation for delivering large-scale productions for some of the world's leading theatre, entertainment and live event producers.
Most recently, the team advised SIP Building Systems (SBS) on its multi-million-pound acquisition of SBUK Group. SBS is part-owned by Cardiff-based Resource Limited, the family office of the late Nick Williams OBE. The transaction creates a scaled platform with enhanced manufacturing capability and expanded market reach, strengthening the combined group's position as one of the UK's leading providers of structural insulated panel solutions and supporting future growth in modern methods of construction.
The hat-trick of deals follows a bumper year for the Cardiff team in 2025, having grown the team with senior hire Ellis Jenkins, an ex-Wales and Cardiff Rugby captain, and completed deals across various sectors.
Koo Aseeley, Partner at DSW Corporate Finance, said:
“These transactions reflect the strength and diversity of the businesses we are advising across Wales and England. From supporting innovative technology platforms and specialist manufacturers to delivering strategic acquisitions, we're continuing to see strong demand from investors and management teams looking to accelerate growth.

Our pipeline remains strong, and we look forward to continuing to advise ambitious businesses as they pursue their next phase of growth.”
Mark Watts, founding Partner of DSW, said:
“The Cardiff team continues to see healthy levels of M&A activity, with sustained interest from private equity, institutional investors and strategic acquirers across a range of sectors, mirroring the pattern we are experiencing nationally. Its recent run of completions and active pipeline further reinforces DSW Corporate Finance's position as a trusted adviser to ambitious owner-managed businesses across Wales.”
