Group collections can now be made for the Newport Now Gift Card.
The Newport Now Gift Card is a local gift card that can only be spent in Newport city centre at 50 businesses including major brands like Primark, Boots and Skechers and independent businesses like Gallery 57, High Score Arcades and Le Pub.
A new partnership between Newport Now BID, Miconex and GiftRound means it is now possible to undertake group collecting for the Newport Now Gift Card.
Newport Now BID says this comes just in time for the end of term teacher gifting season. With an estimated 4.5 million children in state-funded primary schools in the UK and parents spending an average of £9.06 on teacher gifts, more than £4 million is spent on teacher gifts at the end of term, and again at Christmas, if just 10% of families buy a gift for a teacher.

A group collection can be set up for the Newport Now Gift Card online at www.newportgiftcard.co.uk. Once the GiftRound collection closes, the digital Newport Now Gift Card can be sent directly to the organiser with a printable gift card, or directly to the recipient with a link to messages from the contributors. Collections can also be split across multiple gifts/recipients.
