A free family science weekend is set to offer the answers to questions including how does sand predict climate change and what is life like on a Royal Research Ship.

The Natural Environment Research Council, part of UK Research and Innovation, in partnership with the National Oceanography Centre and Techniquest, Cardiff are hosting a free weekend of family fun from 18-20 October.

RRS James Cook

Explore Our Planet – Archwiliwch Ein Planed is an environmental science showcase based at Techniquest and on the RRS James Cook which will be visiting Cardiff Bay for two days only.

Visitors must book their tickets in advance, both to visit Techniquest and to access the RRS James Cook. Tickets will be released from 10am on Thursday 19 September and can be booked here.
