Final Chance to Secure Your Place as Plaid Cymru Leader Addresses Cardiff Business Club

With 2026 shaping up to be a pivotal year for Wales, Cardiff Business Club is urging members and guests to secure their tickets now for what promises to be one of the most significant events of its 2025/26 season.

On 11 March 2026, the Club will welcome Rhun ap Iorwerth MS, Leader of Plaid Cymru, to The Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff for an evening of dinner, discussion and direct engagement with the Welsh business community.

Whatever individual views on politics may be, few would disagree that the coming months could prove decisive, not only for the political landscape, but for businesses across Wales navigating economic uncertainty, policy change and potential shifts in government direction following the May 2026 Senedd elections.

Cardiff Business Club is proudly apolitical.

However, throughout its 114-year history, it has provided a respected platform for dialogue with leading public figures from across the political spectrum, both within Wales and internationally. From prime ministers and ambassadors to industry pioneers and policy-makers, the Club has long recognised the importance of creating space for informed, respectful and robust debate.

The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a networking drinks reception, followed by dinner and an address from Rhun ap Iorwerth. Members and guests will have the opportunity not only to hear directly from the Plaid Cymru leader on his vision for Wales, but also to scrutinise and question him on the implications for business under a range of potential post-election scenarios.

For many in the room, the focus will be clear: what could the policy landscape look like after May 2026? How might taxation, economic development, infrastructure investment, skills and international trade be shaped? And what role will Welsh businesses play in driving growth and resilience?

With the political and economic outlook likely to dominate boardroom discussions across the country in the coming months, this event offers a timely opportunity for business leaders to engage directly with one of Wales’ most prominent political voices.

Interest in the event is already high, and tickets are expected to sell quickly.

Cardiff Business Club is encouraging those wishing to attend to book without delay to avoid disappointment.

As 2026 approaches, conversations that bridge politics and business will become increasingly important. On 11 March, Cardiff Business Club once again provides the forum.

Tickets can be secured via the Club’s website.
