Commercial vehicle specialist Euro Commercials has acquired a long-established family-run vehicle bodybuilder.

The acquisition brings together Euro Commercials, which has showrooms and workshops for fleet vehicles in Cardiff, Newport and Swansea, and family business Neath Coachbuilders, which was established more than 70 years ago.

Neath Coachbuilders provides bespoke commercial vehicle bodies through its workshops in Neath, Cardiff and Swansea, as well as providing mobile servicing and maintenance and breakdown cover.

Geldards’ Corporate team advised on the acquisition, which strengthens Euro Commercials position by offering an expanded bodybuilder service for its customers.

Lexington Corporate Finance, led by Thomas Edwards, provided financial advice to Euro Commercials on the transaction.
