Cornerstone Finance Group has brought together more than 400 mortgage advisers, partners, and industry professionals for a major financial event.
The Cornerstone Expo 2026 included more than 80 exhibitors and featured a schedule of keynote addresses and discussions, including on the economic outlook as well as insights into the property and protection markets.
The event kicked off with an overview of the UK’s economic outlook with James Campbell, Economist at Lloyds Banking Group.
Sprinter and Olympic medallist Darren Campbell MBE took part in a fireside chat with Cornerstone Finance Group CEO Haydn Thomas, during which the pair discussed the power of teamwork and the importance of having strong support networks in both sport and business.
The Expo was held at the ICC Wales in Newport, and saw Cornerstone build on the success of its inaugural event held in the same venue in 2024.
The winners of the Cornerstone Finance Group Awards 2026 were also announced at a ceremony hosted by former Wales rugby international Scott Quinnell.
The Cornerstone Awards celebrate mortgage and protection professionals who are part of the Cornerstone Network. The special awards ceremony was held at the end of the Group’s Expo.
Cardiff-headquartered Cornerstone Finance Group was recognised as one of the 50 fastest-growing businesses in Wales by the UK Fast Growth Index 2025, which identifies and celebrates the most rapidly expanding firms across the UK.
