Charity Size of Wales has partnered with Hard Lines Coffee to launch a special collaboration coffee that supports tropical forest protection and the communities who care for them.
The coffee, Colombia Mujeres, joined Cardiff-based Hard Lines’ seasonal line-up in March 2026. Every bag sold helps fund Size of Wales’ work to protect tropical forests and support Indigenous Peoples.
This marks the second collaboration between the two Welsh organisations through Hard Lines’ Ground Level social action programme. Their previous campaign raised £3,365 to support the Wampís Nation in protecting the Peruvian Amazon.
“Partnering with Size of Wales allows us to go further in supporting forest protection and tackling climate change. As two Welsh organisations, this collaboration feels especially meaningful,” said Ruth, Head of Coffee, Hard Lines.
Colombia Mujeres is produced entirely by women indigenous farmers from the CENCOIC cooperative in Cauca, Colombia, supporting Indigenous Peoples through sustainable agriculture and strengthening long-term livelihoods.
Responsible sourcing sits at the heart of this partnership. Importer DRWakefield works with Enveritas to ensure traceability and assess deforestation risk.
Since 2019, Fairtrade certification has included zero-deforestation criteria, ensuring that purchasing choices benefit both people and planet. This principle sits at the heart of Size of Wales’ Deforestation Free campaign and its vision of a Deforestation Free Nation.
Through the Big Give Earthrise Campaign, donations to Size of Wales between 22-29th April on the Big Give website are currently being doubled, increasing the impact of every contribution.
