Coffee Blue has launched its first mobile cafe franchise in Cardiff, Wales.

Franchisee, Jeremy Griffiths, will start delivering delicious fresh coffees – along with a wide range of hot and cold snacks – throughout northern areas of Cardiff last month out of one of Coffee Blue's industry-leading mobile coffee vans.

After working outside of Cardiff for the last 12 years, Jeremy says he is looking forward to working for himself and spending more time with his loved ones.

He said:

“I wanted to settle down back in Cardiff to spend more time with my family.

“Previously, I had been working 60-70 hours a week, leaving the house at 6am and not getting home until 6/7pm.

“But with Coffee Blue, I am able to set my own terms and have a lot more freedom.”

Jeremy also says he hopes his customers will feel encouraged to support local traders.

He continued:

“The northern side of Cardiff – Lisvane, Llanishen, Thornhill – there’s a community that will support independent Welsh businesses.

“Most of the products I’m going to be selling will be Welsh, and the coffee itself is great. The message I would send to my future customers is: help support local businesses.”

Coffee Blue was founded in 2017 by parent company Vantastec ltd, a specialist automobile conversion firm based in Ystrad Mynach.

Alongside Cardiff North, franchisees also operate in areas across the UK, including Wimbledon, Swindon, Harrogate and Neath, with more to be announced.

Coffee Blue allows budding entrepreneurs and coffee lovers an easy path into becoming their own boss.

Through the expertise of a team with years of industry experience, franchisees are given a strong, flexible support network throughout their training.

The company's Managing Directors, Gareth Edwards and Colin Smith, said Coffee Blue was founded to help people start their own business without being thrown in at the deep end.

They said:

“We're absolutely delighted to be welcoming on board such an enthusiastic and determined worker as Jeremy.

“He's shown all the signs throughout his training that he can be successful and the sky is truly the limit for him.

“We at Coffee Blue are determined to help those looking for a new career path and becoming their own boss through the magic of coffee.

“We have no doubts that Jeremy will be a great addition to the area, and we're excited to see what the future holds for him.”

Like all Coffee Blue franchisees, Jeremy will also be taking bookings for public and private events.

Coffee Blue vans can be found at weddings, festivals, offices, train stations and more.
