Cardiff Business Club has announced that CBRE will be the official event partner for its upcoming dinner and keynote address featuring Laura Trevelyan, British American journalist and Chancellor of Cardiff University.
The event will take place at Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Sophia Gardens, on Thursday 23rd April, bringing together business leaders, civic stakeholders and members of the Cardiff Business Club for an evening of insight, discussion and networking.
Laura Trevelyan is an internationally respected journalist and advocate, whose distinguished 30-year career with BBC News saw her report on major global events from the Good Friday Agreement negotiations in Northern Ireland, to US presidential elections and the events at the US Capitol on January 6th 2021. She has reported from across the world, covering humanitarian crises, natural disasters and political developments with depth and authority.
Now Chancellor of Cardiff University, Laura maintains strong links to the city where she began her journalistic career, having studied at the university. She currently lives in New York and remains an influential commentator on global affairs, history and social justice.
The event will begin at 6pm with a drinks reception, followed by dinner and keynote address, offering guests the opportunity to hear firsthand from one of the most compelling voices in international journalism and public discourse.
