Teachers will have the opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can support careers and work-related learning through a practical online training session delivered by Careers Wales.
The AI for Careers in the Classroom session will take place on Tuesday 16 February 2027, from 3.30pm to 4pm, via Microsoft Teams.
The session forms part of Careers Wales’ professional learning programme, which supports education professionals in designing and planning Careers and Work-Related Experiences (CWRE) across the curriculum.
The hands-on training will introduce teachers to ways AI tools can be used to develop career-related lesson content and help learners make connections between classroom learning and the world of work.
The session will cover:
- Using AI tools to create career-linked lesson content
- Sharing ideas and approaches for incorporating AI into teaching
- Exploring resources available through Careers Wales
- Developing practical ways to engage learners and connect lessons to careers and employment
Participants will have the opportunity to try AI tools and explore how they could support the delivery of CWRE within their teaching.
The training will be available in English or Welsh.
Bookings close on Tuesday 9 February 2027.
