World Accessible Holidays, a specialist accessible travel agency based in Cardiff, has been named Accessible Holidays Provider of the Year at The Travel Industry Awards 2026 by TTG.
The award, sponsored by Turespaña, the Spanish Tourist Office, was presented at a ceremony at The Roundhouse in Camden, London, on Wednesday 23 September. Travel Consultant Jasmine West collected the award on behalf of the team.
The small, independent Welsh business was shortlisted alongside household names and fellow specialists: Amilla Maldives, Dream and Go (Danielle Jade Travel), Enable Holidays, Limitless Travel, Ocean Florida, PortAventura World, TUI and Wheelie Good Travel Co.
Founded by Paula Hansen and Steve Hansen, World Accessible Holidays plans overseas holidays for disabled travellers, wheelchair users, people with complex care needs and their families. The team checks accessibility down to room level and arranges adapted accommodation, accessible transfers, mobility and care equipment hire, and airport assistance, so clients can book with confidence.
The agency also works with case managers, deputies and legal professionals, planning holidays for clients with acquired brain injury and other complex needs, and preparing holiday cost reports for court proceedings.
