Bigmoose, the Cardiff-based charity dedicated to preventing suicide, raising mental health awareness and helping people live happier, healthier lives, is aiming to raise £1 million in just 24 hours.
The charity is calling on businesses and individuals across Wales and beyond to join the movement by entering a team in the challenge, which is set to take place from noon on Saturday, November 29th to noon the next day at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
It will see 100 teams riding non-stop on spin bikes for 24 hours, with every team committing to raising £10,000 as part of a collective effort to reach the £1 million target.
The money raised will go directly towards supporting mental health interventions, therapy sessions and suicide prevention programmes delivered by Bigmoose.
“We’ve seen first-hand the impact Bigmoose can have when people come together,” said Jeff Smith, Bigmoose co-founder. “This challenge isn’t just about the money — it’s about hope. It’s about showing what happens when businesses, teams, and communities unite around a shared purpose: to save lives.”
Companies that take part will be featured across Bigmoose’s media channels. To sign up or find out more, visit www.bigmoosecharity.co or email josie@bigmoosecharity.co
