Cardiff Business Club has announced Prostate Cymru as its official charity partner for the 2025/26 season, supporting the charity’s vital work in raising awareness, promoting early diagnosis, and funding life-saving research into prostate disease across Wales.
The announcement follows Club Chair Phil Jardine’s recent involvement in Prostate Cymru’s Big Walk, where he joined the final leg of a summer-long series of fundraising events. Jardine walked alongside dozens of supporters through Aberystwyth’s scenic landmarks, helping to raise thousands of pounds and much-needed awareness for a cause close to the hearts of many.
Phil Jardine, Chair of Cardiff Business Club, said:
“I was honoured to take part in Prostate Cymru’s Big Walk, and I saw first-hand the incredible energy and dedication the charity puts into its work. Prostate disease remains one of the most common and least talked about conditions affecting men. By supporting Prostate Cymru, we’re not only raising money – we’re helping to change attitudes, promote early testing, and save lives. Our members will be proud to champion such a vital cause throughout the coming season.”
The new partnership will see Cardiff Business Club use its influential platform to support the charity across a series of fundraising and awareness campaigns. Prostate Cymru will be featured prominently at Club events, including opportunities to engage with senior business leaders, policy influencers and decision-makers from across Wales.
Tina Tew, Chief Executive of Prostate Cymru, commented:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be named the official charity partner for Cardiff Business Club’s 2025/26 season. This partnership provides a powerful platform to speak directly to leaders across Wales and to highlight why awareness, conversation and early action around prostate health are so important. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Club and its members over the coming year to make a lasting impact.”
Prostate Cymru is Wales’ leading prostate health charity, supporting men and their families while championing education, community testing, and investment in clinical innovation. With prostate cancer being the most common cancer in men, the charity’s mission is to ensure that every man in Wales has access to the information and testing they need, before symptoms appear.
The 2025/26 season of Cardiff Business Club will begin this September and run through to summer 2026. Prostate Cymru will benefit from enhanced visibility, content partnerships with media partner Business News Wales, and the opportunity to connect with business leaders committed to making a difference.
