Business News Wales has appointed three new members to its editorial team to head up social media, business development and production.
Steve McNally has joined the team as Head of Editorial, Brand and Market Development.
Steve has over 30 years’ experience in media communications, working with UK and global organisations to craft ‘The Story,’ in sectors that include Engineering, Financial Services, FMCG, Manufacturing, Professional Services and Technology.
With over 30 communication and inclusion awards to his name, won for clients in the Private, Public and Not-for-profit sectors, Steve brings a strong blend of editorial, marketing and stakeholder management skills to the team.
Beth Thomas, formerly a social media journalist for The Times and The Sunday Times, joins the publication as a social media producer and editorial assistant. Beth will manage and create strategies for Business News Wales’ social media account and support the team in editorial work.
A recent graduate of Cardiff University’s journalism school, Beth worked in social media in London for two years before she returned to Cardiff, and has written front page stories for Wales Online and the South Wales Evening Post.
Stephen Davies has joined the team as Head of Production, with over 20 years’ experience working in the fast-paced print industry as a graphic and web designer.
Stephen previously worked as a freelance photographer for Wales Online and supplies all major stock agencies with photographs and videos. He is a specialist in graphic design, web development, photography, film and 3D design and animation.
