Social enterprise Business in Focus is launching a new podcast series to explore why tailored business support is essential for helping startups and growing SMEs to survive, adapt, and thrive.
With in-depth discussions featuring guests from across the business support ecosystem, From Startup to Scaleup considers the importance of timely targeted advice, flexible funding, skills training, and enterprise space and asks what needs to happen next for Wales to achieve its goal of economic growth.
Business in Focus provides tailored expert business advice through a range of Welsh Government and UK Government funded programmes, as well as access to finance, property requirements and skills training.
The inaugural podcast episode – Why Business Support is More Vital Than Ever in a Changing Wales - explores the current business support landscape in Wales and considers what is needed now to inspire ambition among startups and scaleups.
Host Gemma Casey, editor of Business News Wales, is joined in the first episode by Phil Jones, CEO of Business in Focus, David Stephens, Chair of Business in Focus and Jessica Shipman, Chair of NatWest Cymru Regional Board.
The podcast is produced in collaboration with Business News Wales as part of its specialist podcast production service. It is available on all major platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
