Bookings Now Open for 2019 Torfaen Women in Business Event

Organised by the business support team at Torfaen Economy & Enterprise within Torfaen council, this annual event, now in its 7th year, provides an opportunity to celebrate the contribution that women make to the business community.

In previous years the event has attracted women from within Torfaen and from surrounding counties as well as Cardiff, with attendance exceeding over 100.

Bookings are now open for the 2019 event which will  once again take place at Cwmbran Parkway Hotel & Spa  on Wednesday 23rd October.

In addition to hearing from some great speakers, attendees  will also be given plenty of opportunities for networking plus Christmas shopping at the trade tables. A scrumptious  high tea will also be served.

This year we are supporting the new specialist centre of excellence for breast care service at Ystrad Mynach Hospital (Aneurin Bevan University Health Board); all delegate ticket proceeds will be going towards this worthy cause.

Women who run their own business, work in a management role within  a business or organisation or who are thinking of setting up an enterprise are welcome to attend what promises to be another successful Torfaen Women in Business event.

Gaynor Wakeling, Business Support Manager at Torfaen Economy & Enterprise, said;

“We are delighted to be hosting this fantastic event once again and providing opportunities for local business women to network, make new contacts, showcase their business and hear from amazing speakers. It will be a packed evening! Individual delegate tickets priced at just £12.00 (including VAT) will probably sell out quickly so I would urge ladies to book as soon as possible.  Trade tables are also still available to book, so if you are able to offer gifts, treats, beauty products or craft items then please get in touch.”

Torfaen Women in Business 2019 takes place on Wednesday 23rd October 2019 from 4:30pm until 7:30pm. For further details and to book a place visit www.southwalesbusiness.co.uk.
