Barclays Eagle Lab Brings AI Big Breakfast Club to Newport

Barclays Eagle Lab is set to launch a new event in Newport, bringing Wales into the heart of the UK’s fast-growing artificial intelligence innovation scene.

On Tuesday, June 24, the AI Big Breakfast Club will make its Welsh debut at Newport Market, following the success of its March gathering. This event, hosted in partnership with Twin Path Ventures, aims to deliver a morning of discussion, connections and insights into cybersecurity and AI.

Running from 10 am to 12 pm, the breakfast club is designed for AI and cybersecurity professionals, startup founders, investors, policymakers, academics, and anyone with a keen interest in the intersection of emerging technologies. The event will feature a panel discussion moderated by Twin Path Ventures, with a focus on how artificial intelligence is reshaping digital security – from AI-driven threat detection to ethical challenges and privacy concerns.

The event will include:

  • Expert panel insights on the future of cybersecurity and AI
  • Interactive Q&A sessions to share perspectives
  • Opportunities for networking over fresh coffee and breakfast

Building on the sold-out success of its London series, the AI Breakfast Club aims to foster collaboration and community spirit within Wales’ tech ecosystem, positioning Newport as a key regional player in the UK’s AI innovation landscape.

Space is limited, and with high demand expected, those interested are encouraged to secure their tickets early.

For details and registration, visit the AI Breakfast Club event page or head to Newport Market on the day.
