Bakery Chain Appoints Cardiff’s Bridge Coffee Roasters As Artisan Coffee Supplier

Warrens Bakery, the oldest Cornish pasty maker in the world, has announced Bridge Coffee Roasters as its new artisan coffee supplier for its 47 UK bakery stores.

The Cardiff-based company has its own roastery and Warrens Bakery has selected its medium hand roasted Wild Meadow blend.

Craig Wood, Assistant Retail Director of Warrens Bakery, said:

“Bridge Coffee Roasters produce exceptional tasting, responsibly sourced artisan coffee that we’re excited to offer to our customers. You can taste their knowledge and experience of coffee roasting in every serve, and we’re delighted to have them onboard.”

James Legg, Business Development Manager at Bridge Coffee Roasters, added:

“It’s a pleasure to be partnered with Warrens Bakery, a company with an incredible heritage and reputation who recognise that the coffee market continues to grow and innovate. That’s why they’ve chosen to move forward with Bridge and step into the specialty coffee space. We’re confident that Warrens will become even more widely recognised for their in-cup excellence and ethical sourcing. This is a hugely exciting journey for Bridge, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Established in 1860 in St Just in Cornwall, Warrens Bakery now has shops that stretch across and beyond the South West, from Penzance, Falmouth and Truro to Exeter and Taunton and at railway stations in Cardiff, Bath Spa, Basingstoke and Slough.
