Admiral Ranked Fourth Best UK Workplace for Women in 2025

Admiral, the financial services company, has been named the 4th Best Workplace for Women™ in 2025 by Great Place To Work® UK.

This latest recognition means that Admiral has featured in the top 10 each year since the list started in 2019.

The 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list is made up of employers whose people have told Great Place To Work® UK they work for a place that is inclusive and equitable for all.

The Great Place to Work® feedback shared by Admiral colleagues includes:

  • 95% feel that Admiral is a diverse and inclusive employer
  • 96% feel that people at Admiral are treated fairly regardless of their gender

Responses specifically from women at Admiral also highlighted that:

  • 90% feel proud to tell others they work at Admiral
  • 90% feel that Admiral is a brand they feel proud to work for

Admiral has a dedicated DE&I team and Gender Colleague Working Group which champion gender equality throughout the business through awareness events and internal forums. It’s also been recognised as an Endometriosis Friendly Employer and sets out clear menopause policies for women.

Lorna Connelly, People Director at Admiral, said:

“I’m so proud of this recognition for our continued efforts in supporting all women in the workplace, as part of our broader commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all. Being a Great Place to Work and a place where everyone can be themselves is so important to us, and it’s all thanks to everyone’s efforts to make Admiral a place Where You Can Be You, regardless of gender. We want to make sure every voice is heard and respected, and we’ll continue to look at ways in which we can improve for our people.”

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK, said:

“This year’s UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list highlights organisations that are moving beyond good intentions and delivering real, measurable progress. These companies are dismantling outdated norms, prioritising women’s health, and building clear, supported pathways to leadership.

“This recognition is driven by what matters most: the voices of women who work there. They’ve said, in their own words, that their workplace is one where they’re respected, empowered, and able to succeed.

“Congratulations to Admiral for leading by example — and showing what a genuinely inclusive workplace can look like.”
