Admiral has become the latest member of Business in the Community (BITC), the Prince’s Responsible Business Network, and joins over 600 businesses who are committed to achieving business objectives by focusing on societal need. BITC has members across the UK, from Belfast to Bradford and Stirling to Swansea, who are working with communities to create thriving places for people to live and work.
BITC brings businesses together to tackle some of the biggest issues facing communities across the UK, from protecting the planet to leading on gender and racial equality. Admiral, the only Welsh FTSE 100 business, joins some of Wales’ largest employers who work together to advocate for responsible business practice, and connect their shared resources to support local people and communities.
The role of businesses in creating a fair and healthy society has been at the core of BITC’s agenda since it was founded by HRH Prince of Wales in 1982. For 40 years, BITC has been leading businesses to put responsibility into the heart of decision making, so that business decisions have a positive impact on the planet, communities, and people.
