Local businesses are being invited to a Meet the Buyer event to explore potential supply chain opportunities linked to the delivery of the new Ysgol Llanhari in Llanharry, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Willmott Dixon is delivering the new school building and supporting facilities, including new outdoor sports provision, with construction due to commence in January 2027.
The free, informal drop-in event will give businesses an opportunity to meet Willmott Dixon's Supply Chain Managers and Social Value Manager, learn more about the project and discuss opportunities to work with the company during its delivery.
Willmott Dixon is particularly keen to meet local suppliers, subcontractors and specialist contractors that share its commitment to delivering high-quality construction and creating lasting social value for the local community. The event is open to businesses that have worked with the company before as well as those interested in partnering with it for the first time.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:

- Find out about joining the company's supply chain
- Learn how Willmott Dixon plans to deliver social value through the project
The event will take place at Llanhary Community Centre on Wednesday 9 September 2026, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Attendance is free and the event is for Welsh-based small and medium-sized enterprises, with places restricted to two delegates per business.
The project is supported by the Welsh Government through the UK Local Growth Fund in Wales, with the event delivered by Business Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.
