The Safety Letterbox Company Ltd is celebrating being awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation in the firm's 40th year.
The Neath-based firm – the UK’s leading manufacturer of mailboxes and parcel boxes and secure information boxes – is one of seven Welsh firms is to be recognised with a King’s Award for Enterprise 2026.
This year is also a landmark year for the Awards, as they celebrate 60 years since the first honours were conferred in 1966.
The Safety Letterbox Company has been recognised specifically for its pioneering approach to fire rated mail and parcel boxes, initially designed and developed in 2002 to meet the evolving needs of modern building regulations and further advanced in 2019 from one-hour to two-hour fire rated, to sit alongside a range of mailbox solutions, including design-led bespoke products.

The firm works closely with architects, developers, and contractors throughout the UK and worldwide and exports to more than 30 countries.
