RJ Chartered Surveyors Appoints Graduate Surveyor to Support Growth Plans

RJ Chartered Surveyors (RJCS) has appointed Thomas Mogridge as Graduate Surveyor within its Commercial Agency team.

Thomas’ appointment plays a key role in RJCS’s growth plans for 2026, as the firm continues to expand its full agency and property management services across Wales.

As part of the firm’s focus on developing future talent, Thomas will begin working towards the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) qualification, which follows his degree in Real Estate BSc, gained from the University of West of England.

Before joining RJ Chartered Surveyors, Thomas received valuable experience in the strategic property team with South Oxfordshire & Vale of White Horse Council, where he developed hands-on skills overseeing non-operational property holdings, assisting on strategic property projects, and dealing with a range of property matters including acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews and lease renewals.

In his new role, Thomas is already supporting the management of existing clients, helping ensure continuity and high-quality service while contributing to the firm’s wider growth objectives. His focus will include assisting with client relationships, identifying opportunities for commercial development, and supporting the wider agency team in delivering innovative property solutions.

Thomas, said:

“I’ve always had a strong interest in property, and joining RJ Chartered Surveyors feels like the perfect next step. I’m excited to contribute to such an innovative business with big growth plans across East Wales and beyond. I look forward to learning from the experienced team, further developing my skills, and helping the firm continue to expand its presence across the country.”

Liam Slater, Agency Director at RJ Chartered Surveyors, which has offices in Swansea and Cardiff, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Thomas to the Commercial Agency team. His enthusiasm, strong foundation in property management, and commitment to pursuing his APC make him an excellent addition to the firm. As RJCS continues to expand across South East Wales, Thomas will play a key role in supporting both our existing clients and new opportunities, helping us maintain the high standards our clients expect.”
