Five site managers from South Wales have been recognised with a prestigious housebuilding accolade.
Osian Phillips, Matthew Coyle, Elliot Kingdon, Mitchell Elms and Charlie Jones secured the National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award for their work across various Redrow developments, such as Great Milton Park, Parc Elizabeth and Parc Y Coleg in Newport, Plas Ty Draw in Cardiff and De Clare Gardens in Caerphilly.
They were praised for excellence in on-site management, having led projects across the various developments. They were also commended for their dedication to quality, leadership and safety as site managers.
Running for 40 years, the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards are dedicated to recognising the industry’s very best performers and are prestigious prizes that site managers aspire to achieve.
To receive this award, individuals must perform to a high standard across every aspect of site and build management, including quality of workmanship, technical know-how, health and safety, and leadership. Judges look for strong attention to detail and the standout qualities that set exceptional site managers apart.
Tim Sexton, Construction Director at Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales, said:
“We are thrilled so many of our site managers have been recognised and received this award for their hard work and dedication. This is a testament to the effort they have put into our fantastic South Wales developments and their passion for building high-quality homes that help create thriving communities.
“A Pride in the Job Award is something that many site managers strive for, so it is truly an outstanding achievement and very well deserved.”
