Cardiff Business Club is set to open its 2025/26 season with a prestigious guest and a fresh new direction, as it welcomes Martin Fraser, Irish Ambassador to Great Britain, for an exclusive lunch event on Tuesday 16th September at the elegant Postmaster Suite in the Parkgate Hotel, Cardiff.
The event marks not only the start of a new season but also a new chapter for the Club itself, as it operates under a refreshed board and announces Engage Events as its new event delivery partner. The updated structure signals a renewed focus on delivering engaging, high-quality experiences that bring the Cardiff business community together in meaningful and dynamic ways.
Kicking off at 12:00 PM, the lunch will begin with a networking drinks reception, offering guests the chance to connect and re-engage after the summer break. This will be followed by a keynote address from Ambassador Fraser, whose remarkable career spans key moments in modern Irish and British history, including his leadership role during Brexit, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the Northern Ireland Peace Process.
After his speech and an open Q&A session, guests will be treated to a two-course lunch with fellow business leaders, government officials, and civic stakeholders.
