UK Tech Week, the national celebration designed to showcase the innovation, expertise, and talent that powers the UK’s vibrant tech landscape, has announced its 2025 programme.

Partnering with regional ecosystems, plus national advocacy organisations, UK Tech Week will host more than 40 events across the UK.

Launching in Bristol on 17 March with the Tech Minister, Baroness Jones, in attendance, UK Tech Week 2025 will span five days, featuring an array of tech-focused events across the country.

Events will be run across the UK by partner organisations including Tramshed Tech in South Wales, Scotland IS, Cambridge Tech Week, Digital Jersey, Tech Cornwall, Tech East, Sunderland Software City and Leeds Digital.

Events include:

  • Startup Coalition has arranged a Pitch in Parliament competition for startups that are using AI to solve problems in public services.
  • techUK is launching its Scale-Up Action Plan report which explores how the UK can fully harness its tech and science scale-up potential.
  • Tech South West is hosting an Investment Summit that will help tech firms navigate the funding arena.

Baroness Jones of Whitchurch, Minister for the Future Digital Economy and Online Safety at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, said:

“The UK's world-leading tech sector is crucial to delivering the tech-enabled economic growth our country needs, and ensuring people reap the rewards this sector provides for them and their families, regardless of background or where they live. From pioneering solutions to the climate crisis to revolutionising healthcare, UK tech is at the forefront of tackling the most pressing challenges of our time.

“UK Tech Week is a great initiative that celebrates these achievements and showcases the leading role tech ecosystems in all regions and nations across our country play in strengthening our economy, innovating and problem solving, and improving people's everyday lives.”

Stuart Clarke MBE, Founder of UK Tech Week, said:

“UK Tech Week is more than a celebration; it is a movement to foster connection, collaboration, and innovation across the UK’s tech ecosystem. I am pleased to see so many incredible partners coming together to highlight the best of what the UK tech sector has to offer.

“Our ambition is to build the most geographically-inclusive tech event in the UK, that brings together the largest and longer-established events while encouraging the newest and smallest; we want UK Tech Week to be seen as the key event that kicks off the tech year.”

Vic Weigler, Chief Technology Officer of UK Tech Week Headline Sponsors, Lloyds Banking Group, said:

“At Lloyds Banking Group, we recognise the transformative power of technology in driving economic growth and innovation. Supporting UK Tech Week aligns with our commitment to help Britain prosper. We’re excited to be part of this celebration of UK tech and look forward to engaging with founders, innovators, and industry leaders.”
