Davisons Law Expands into Wales with Strategic Acquisition

A Midlands-based legal firm has expanded into Wales through the acquisition of David Prosser, a well-established law practice in Bridgend.

This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Davisons Law's growth strategy and extends its reach beyond its traditional Midlands stronghold, it said.

The acquired firm has been rebranded as DP Law and will operate under the Davisons Group banner, joining the firm's growing network of offices across the Midlands, London, and the Cotswolds.

Gary Davison, Managing Director of Davisons Law, said:

“We are thrilled to welcome the team from David Prosser to the Davisons family. This acquisition aligns perfectly with our expansion plans and allows us to bring our expertise and client-focused approach to the Welsh market. We're particularly excited about the opportunities this presents for serving clients in South Wales and potentially expanding further into Cardiff in the future.”

The acquisition brings the total number of Davisons Group offices to 17. All existing staff from David Prosser have been retained.

Daryl Wilks, Director at Davisons Law, added:

“We're committed to maintaining the local expertise and relationships that David Prosser has built over the past 25 years. Our approach is to support and enhance their existing operations while introducing the additional capabilities that come with being part of a larger, forward-thinking legal group.”

The Bridgend office will continue to operate from its current location, with new Davisons Group branding being implemented.
