Fast-growing Newport law firm Bellavia & Associates has expanded its team again with the appointment of two new members of staff.
Solicitor Labibah Raza joins the full service law firm to specialise in all aspects of corporate law. The appointment of the 28-year-old from Newport increases the number of fully-qualified solicitors in the Bellavia & Associates team to five, with over 100 years’ experience between them.
Labibah studied law at Cardiff University before starting her legal career, qualifying after a training contract in Somerset.
Her role at Bellavia & Associates sees her dealing with company acquisitions, restructures, mergers, business terms and conditions, and contract drafting.
“My approach is focused on achieving clients' objectives in the most cost- and time-efficient way possible,” said Labibah.
“I was attracted to Bellavia & Associates because it is local, focussed, expanding, and there is so much to learn from the experience of the team here.
“I want to continue focussing on corporate and commercial work and to become an acknowledged expert in the field.”
Outside of work, Labibah is passionate about personal growth and often attends spiritual retreats.
She regularly volunteers in her local community and is a fan of South Korean culture, particularly K-drama.
Meanwhile, Jodie Rogers joins the firm as a Litigation Assistant.
The 32-year-old from Cwmbran has worked in the legal sector for the last 10 years, in litigation.
Jodie completed her law degree at Swansea University and successfully completed her first year of the CILEX Graduate Qualification.
She loves travelling, immersing herself into different cultures and spending time with her friends and family.

“I am aiming to qualify as a solicitor and I intend to continue to specialise in litigation because I have considerable experience in that area already.
