ICC Wales and The Celtic Collection, including The Celtic Manor Resort, have secured three award wins at this year’s M&IT Awards, one of the largest awards ceremonies for the UK business events industry.

ICC Wales Sales Director Danielle Bounds secured the prestigious Personality of the Year award in recognition of her inspiring work with Martyn’s Law and her positive influence as a passionate champion for the events industry.

ICC Wales also secured the Silver award for Best UK Conference Centre, reaffirming its status as a top-tier destination for large-scale events and conventions. The Celtic Manor Resort celebrated Silver success in the Best UK Hotel category while The Celtic Collection was a finalist for Best Hotel Group.

Presenting the individual award to Danielle, ICCA President and ExCeL London Executive Director James Rees said:

“Danielle’s efforts extend beyond her immediate team, contributing to the broader community through educational initiatives and industry-wide collaborations. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her work with Martyn's Law and the Protect Duty Report, where she has been a driving force for industry change.
