North Wales Brewery Expands into Scandinavian Markets


The oldest lager brewery in Britain is expanding into new international markets as the brand hits shelves across Scandinavia.

The Wrexham Lager Beer Co has secured a partnership in Norway and Sweden with leading importers of beer Brewery International, and in Denmark distribution has been secured with Premium Beer and Beverages.

Servicing both the on and off trade markets, Norway and Denmark will see a mix of Wrexham Lager and Wrexham Export hit the market in the 440ml can, 330ml bottle and 30L keg formats, whilst Sweden is taking the Wrexham Export 330ml bottle and 30L keg.

The Wrexham Lager Beer Co has secured long-term order agreements with both Brewery International and Premium Beer and Beverages, creating a solid test-bed for further European expansion.

As the family run business continues to build on its UK and international routes to market, CEO of The Wrexham Lager Beer Co James Wright, said:
