Bringing Talent Home to Rural Wales

Businesses with job vacancies across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and Anglesey are being offered the chance to connect with students and graduates who are studying outside of Wales.

Darogan Talent is hosting a series of events over the summer, when students are likely to be back in their home towns.

Darogan’s Find Your Future in Wales project is funded via the ARFOR partnership. ARFOR is a joint venture by Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and Anglesey Councils which seeks to use entrepreneurship and economic development to support the heartlands of the Welsh language.

Employers from across sectors with vacancies in the counties – or those who would consider remote workers based in the areas – are being offered a free stand at the events, which will also include keynote speakers and breakout sessions.

Business News Wales spoke to Darogan Talent founder Owain James about what the project is aiming to offer to employers, students and the wider economy.
