Barclays Announces New Appointments to its Mid-Corporate Team in North Wales


Barclays has announced two new appointments for its mid-corporate banking team in North Wales. 

Liahll Bruce has been appointed as a new Relationship Development Director, while Kath Jones has been promoted to Associate Director, each with a focus on supporting and providing outstanding service to clients operating between £6.5million and £50million turnover.

Liahll who joined the team in June will be responsible for supporting companies in achieving their growth aspirations across a wide range of industries. Previously, Liahll was the strategic lead for Franchising at Barclays UK and led a team of national commercial finance brokers.   Liahll has a wealth of experience having joined Barclays in 2008 at Rhyl branch, since then, he has enjoyed a varied career in retail and commercial banking, based in Glasgow and London.

Kath has worked for Barclays for 34 years in a variety of roles in North Wales.  Since 2009, Kath has been responsible for supporting mid-corporate clients alongside managing a complex portfolio and is delighted to have been promoted within the mid-corporate banking team. Kath brings a wealth of experience and ‘practical know how’ and is well known in the region.  In her new role Kath will continue to support Barclays mid- corporate clients operating across North Wales.
