Constructaquote.com, a top 100 specialist insurance brokerage based in Caerphilly is implementing a variety of measures to ensure staff and customers stay safe amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Safety measures such as remote working for staff, a ban on all non-crucial travel, self-isolation for people who have travelled to affected areas or have symptoms, and the cancellation of face-to-face meetings have all been implemented by Moorhouse Group Ltd, the parent company of constructaquote.com, XO and Black & White.

Business mentor and CEO of constructaquote.com, Lyndon Wood, said:

“We continue to put our staff and customers at the forefront of our plan as their health and safety are paramount. Our Business Continuity Plan allows us to do this as we have put measures in place for all kinds of different scenarios. Job security is at the forefront of myself and my co-director’s minds as we monitor government announcements very closely”.

“We have plans in place for all of our teams to work from home, at which point we will be able to follow a ‘business as usual’ approach.

We will continue to update our safety measures as we go along during these challenging times. We have followed guidelines from the World Health Organization and we will continue to follow advice from the UK Government,” he said.

Wood continues:

“I have dedicated 30 years to building the business and invested my personal time into helping and supporting 1000s of SME from small to advanced and have never been lost for words until now. I feel for everyone in business whatever position, size, health they are in and if you can survive then please do so for our country and economy. The realisation of business is that everyone is exposed and we are all safeguarding as many jobs as we can and making real tough decisions, during unprecedented times”.

Constructaquote.com continues to help thousands of people and companies across the UK with their business insurance needs.
