Leading Cleaning Company Completes Project at Cardiff Heath Hospital

Swansea-based commercial and industrial cleaning company, Clean Sweep, continues to expand and grow in Wales, having recently completed a three-year cleaning contract at the new MRI building at Cardiff Heath Hospital.

Clean Sweep was appointed by Kier Regional Building to carry out daily cabin and welfare cleaning for the duration of the project, which consisted of six phases and lasted for three years.

The newly constructed MRI building at Cardiff Heath Hospital has provided four new MRI spaces with ancillary support rooms and offices. The building also has a neonatal ward on level 2, a cardiac ward on level 1, and offices on the underground level.

Aled Walters, senior quantity surveyor at Kier Regional Building, said:

“Clean Sweep were a great company to work with. They worked hard and with efficiency to ensure that the site was kept clean and comfortable at all times. They supplied a fantastic workforce to carry out the daily cleaning, and we are incredibly grateful for their help.”

Kier Regional Building is the country’s leading regional builder. The company works with clients on projects of all sizes, complexities and sectors, spanning across the whole of the UK.

Regarding Clean Sweep’s involvement, Helen Williams, managing director of Clean Sweep, said:

“This project is so special to us, and we are thrilled that we were able to work with Kier on this new MRI building. The new facilities within the building will help so many people for years to come, so it’s really humbling to be part of a project like this.

“Giving back to the community is really important to us, which is why we jumped at the chance to take on this project. While the journey was long, the results are priceless.”
