Cardiff Audi Steering Massive Running Events

Cardiff Audi will be the front-runner at two of Wales’ largest running events after agreeing to become official vehicle partner to the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon and ABP Barry Island 10K.

The Cardiff Gate Audi Centre will provide the lead vehicles to the upcoming events at two iconic South Wales locations. A brand new Audi vehicle will lead 25,000 runners along the streets of the Welsh capital after the second instalment of the ABP Barry Island 10K makes it return on Sunday 4 August.

A sold-out field of 3,500 runners will be led across the scenic but challenging course – which takes in the all the highlights of the summertime hotspot – by one of Mon Motors’ versatile range of Audi cars.

A month later on October 6, the Welsh capital will be flooded with runners for the 16th edition of the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon. A star-studded field of elite athletes from across the world will follow the Mon Motors car before sprinting their way to Cardiff Half glory along King Edward VII Avenue.

Matt Newman, Run 4 Wales Chief Executive commented:
