Jobseekers across Denbighshire are invited to the Working Denbighshire Jobs Fair on Wednesday, 10 September from 10am to 2pm, at the 1891 Bar & Restaurant, Rhyl Pavilion.

Held in partnership with Job Centre Plus, this free event will bring together a wide range of local and national employers, all looking to recruit for current vacancies across various sectors. Following the success of the last event in Spring, which welcomed over 50 employers, this year’s fair is set to be even bigger.

Confirmed employers include the British Armed Forces, Shotton Mill, Warner Hotels, Clwyd Alyn, Leader Optic, and Kids Planet, offering roles across hospitality, care, manufacturing, education, and more.

A dedicated quiet hour from 1pm to 2pm will also be in place for anyone who would benefit from a calmer, more accessible environment.

Councillor Jason McLellan, Leader of Denbighshire County Council and Lead Member for Economic Growth & Tackling Deprivation said:

“We’re proud to be working in partnership with the Job Centre to help bring opportunities directly to our communities.

“Events like this are a great example of how we can support local people into employment and showcase the brilliant businesses who are hiring right now across Denbighshire and beyond.”

The Department of Work and Pensions said:

“Jobs fairs give a fantastic opportunity for the residents of Denbighshire to see employers face-to-face to discuss the roles available. In many cases jobseekers meet up with them the following week for interviews, which may lead to employment.

“We’re proud to be working in partnership with Working Denbighshire on many varied projects giving our customers the chance to grow and reach their potential.”

The event is open to everyone, whether you're looking for a new job, exploring career options, or interested in training and support.

Working Denbighshire is part funded through the Welsh Government Communities for Work Plus Programme which supports those most disadvantaged in the labour market to overcome the barriers preventing them from gaining employment.

Working Denbighshire is part funded by UK Government.
