Leading Welsh creative digital agency, Sequence, has this year firmly placed itself back on the map for their ability to connect brands with their customers through intelligent design and innovative solutions.
The agency, now based in Pentwyn, was set up by Richard Baker in 1995 and currently has a 45-member team. Following major investment in November 2016 by Simon Powell, Sequence joined the Inspiretec Group and works with 80 other staff members to deliver high-end luxury digital experiences.
In the past year the agency has found itself working with a range of exciting new travel brands such as Sovereign Luxury Travel (Travelopia Group) and Mike Burton Group. As a result of such new business, the company has had to expand its ever-growing production team to successfully manage the increase in demand.
Whilst Sequence’s newest clients in the travel sector has been well-received, the company also continues to work closely with non-travel clients, such as Honeywell and Pinewood Studios, and is due to launch a number of large-scale projects in early 2018.
Sequence has also hired interns throughout the year to work within the agency’s project teams and to provide them with valuable industry experience. These interns sit directly within the agency’s production teams and support the production of all web projects on all levels.
This year Sequence has received recognition for their ability to consistently produce high-quality digital experiences. Their specific user-centric approach has helped the brand showcase their offering and resulted in them being shortlisted for two Drum Awards in Content and Leisure/Tourism categories.
Richard Baker, CEO of Sequence, said:
“2017 has been a fantastic year for us as an agency within the Inspiretec Group. We have successfully worked alongside new clients to cross boundaries and open up new opportunities. We have also continued to work collaboratively with Inspiretec’s other clients, managing to maximise our capabilities as a Group.
“Looking forward to 2018 we have a number of exciting new business projects in the pipeline and will no doubt be looking for additional staff to help our expansion plans in the near future.”
